"What...?" Bass hissed.

"No, GUESS."

"Dive Man, I am not going to play your stupid games. WHAT?!"

"Treble is digging in Dr. Light's flowers."

Bass looked up and saw his robo-dog, Treble, Ruining the bushes. "Dang dog, COME Treble!" he called quietly.

Treble reluctantly ran back to his master, wagging his tail.

"Bass," Dive Man asked, "What did Wily say we are supposed to do?"

Bass hit Dive in the back of the head for his stupidity. "We wait outside the lab until Mega Man leaves, then we sneak inside and get the Reploid. Got it Einstein?"

"Yup."

Bass moaned in disgust. "I swear, I would send Treble after you, but it would make too much noise."

"Bass?"

"WHAT!?"

"Did you know your nose crinkles when you're mad?" Dive Man laughed quietly.

Bass grabbed Dive Man by the foot and dragged him to a neighbor's driveway. He pried open the trunk on the parked car, threw Dive Man in, and returned to his hiding place in Dr Light's lawn.

"Mega Man, come here," Dr. Light called.

Mega walked into the lab. "What's up, Doc?"

"Very funny. We have been contacted on the trimensional viewer. Take a look." Dr. Light pressed a sequence of buttons on a control panel, and an image of Dr. Wily appeared on the wall.

"Wily?!" Mega Man cried out.

Dr. Wily smiled. "DUH! Who else?" His thick German accent was the perfect touch to his 'Mad Scientist' image.

"Mega Man, my robots are attacking the city!"

"And why would you just tell me this?" Mega asked, with a small smile.

"Because it's a trap." Wily answered simply. "Have fun!"

Suddenly, a loud explosion shook the whole house. The image flashed and faded.

"Mega Man," Dr. Light said, "Be careful."

"Don't worry, I'll be fine. Wily's too dumb to get the best of me!" Mega ran out of the house and teleported away.

Bass smiled widely as he watched Mega teleport. He turned to the other Wily robots and signaled for them to follow him. They quietly walked through the yard and opened the front door. They started down the long hall.

Shade Man walked beside Bass, and whispered, "Who put YOU in charge of this mission, Fish Face?"

"Wily did, Bat Butt. Now shut up."

Treble ran up behind Shade Man and bit his leg. Shade screamed out in pain, surprising Charge Man, who was standing behind him. Charge Man jumped backwards, and crashed into Spring Man, who fell down on Bubble Man, who fell on Slash Man, who crashed into the side of the hall, knocking a hole in it.

Bass went hysterical. "Shut up!!! Shush!! Quiet! Silence!! NOISE IS A NO - NO!!!! Run! Quick, uhh, into the lab!!"

The Wily robots ran as fast as they could. They all got inside the lab, and shut the door.

Bass leaned, panting, against the door, and stared accusingly at the others. "How....COULD...you be that STUPID!? I said to be QUIET! I oughta rearrange every one of your faces..."

Shade hissed, "If you lay a hand on me I'll--"

"YOU'LL WHAT?!" Bass challenged.

They heard footsteps running down the hall. Whoever it was stopped in front of the door to the lab. He gasped for breath, and called, �"Roll, I don't see ANYONE, but there is a big hole in the wall!!"

Bass held his breath. "Ohpleasedontcomeinohplease.." he prayed.

At that moment, Proto Man swung open the door to the lab, throwing Bass across the room. "Oh yeah, I forgot," Bass mumbled, as he stood up, "The BIG GUY doesn't LIKE Wily robots..."

Proto let his jaw drop as he stared at the Wily bots. "How....why....what...?"

Bass smirked. "Hi Proto! What's up?"

"Um, uh....I...uh....ROLL!!!"

In a minute, Roll stood next to her brother.........and screamed. "What are THEY doing here?!!" She marched up to Bass, and put on her bravest look. "Get out of here, NOW!!!......please?"

Bass burst into hysterical laughter.

X ran into the lab. "Roll, I heard you scream! Are you alright?....who are they?" he said, looking at Bass and the others.

"Hi, X!" Bass said happily, "We're, uh, family friends! We stopped by for...milk....and cookies! Yeah!"

X turned to his brother and sister with questioning eyes.

"X," Proto explained, "These jerks are Wily robots. Intruders of our home, and....breaker of our walls."��"Oh," X said, and looked one more at Bass.

"Okay, enough talk." Bass said, smiling wickedly. "Get the Reploid."

Slash Man and Crystal Man grabbed X's arms and held him tightly, while Napalm Man and Shade Man held Proto and Roll.

"Lemme go you....BAT!" Roll screamed.

Shade Man's red eyes gleamed. "Why don't you shut up, girly? Do you know I LOVE blood? I like to bite down on the neck of some human or robot, drink all their blood, as they thrash wildly, and--"

"SHUT UP!!" Roll whined.

Shade Man smiled. "Actually, I'm kind of thirsty right now!!" Shade opened his mouth wide, showing off his two fangs.

"Roll!!!" X yelled. He broke away from Slash and Crystal Man, and ran toward Shade.

Bass quickly pulled out a small weapon, and shot something at X. The 'something' sank deep into his neck. "Aaaarrgghh..." X yelled out in pain. Whatever had hit him was making him incredibly light-headed and dizzy. X felt as if he were floating. Then, his knees gave out and he fell to the floor.

The Wily robots looked on in amazement.

"Wowee!" Bass exclaimed, "That computer chip don't play around!!!"

Bass walked over and picked X up.

"Leave him alone!!!" Proto yelled desperately.

"Metal Man," Bass said, "Tie these two up."

Metal Man brought out the robot-proof chains, and tied Roll and Proto back-to-back. Then he carelessly tossed them into the basement, and listened as they 'clanked' down the stairs, and landed with a loud 'thwunk'.

Metal Man nodded his head in accomplishment, and ran out the door with the others.

As the Wily bots made their way back to Skull Castle with X, Bass led them in a sing-along. They sang to the tune of "We're Comin' 'Round the Mountain", �"We're bringin' home a Reploid, yes we are!!"

They all happily skipped home, with their prized Reploid dangling over Bass's shoulder.
